This print was inspired by queer ecology—a way of looking at the world without heteronormative or cisnormative biases. Through this lens, we can see the beautiful complexity of life on Earth that is free from binaries and rigidity.

Combining linocut illustration with metal & wood type, this print re-imagines an encyclopedia page, layered over the bold phrase: Nature is Queer.

This print was created using layers of wood type, metal type, and hand-carved linoleum blocks. It was printed on textured unbleached paper with rubber-based ink using a Vandercook proofing press. Edition of 15.

11×17. 2025.
