These hand-painted ceramic mugs were designed for tea drinkers and relate to one of the four natural elements.

The bespoke shape of the mug is both aesthetic and functional. The included lid helps tea steep faster, and when the tea is done steeping, the lid can be used as a tray for the tea bag.

The decoration was hand-painted by ceramic artisans in Mexico. I directed the artwork to relate to one of the four natural elements—earth, wind, fire, and water—with a hidden mantra painted on the inside of the lid.
