This personalized baby swaddle was inspired by vintage newspapers. Ashly Juskus, Sr. Buyer, pitched the idea for a personalized birth announcement baby swaddle with a nod to newspaper headlines.

I ran with the idea, proposing a pun-filled layout that incorporated eclectic vintage fonts, hand-drawn illustrations, and quirky layouts. I also included hidden details like the alphabet block border or the storybook text within the newspaper articles. To complete the gift, the swaddle also came with a hat and in a “Special Delivery” sleeve.

In addition to designing and illustrating the product, I also developed the personalization template and collaborated with Product Management to ensure the personalization fields on the website were user friendly.
